A lot Dacia Duster - revealed serious problems in braking system
Trouble before the advent of the showrooms
Dacia Duster Several hundred were on the verge of leaving the factory to dealers across the country with big problems in braking the rear wheels... Manufacturing defect took by surprise even the company's test pilots...
Manufacturing defects that jeopardize the security of passengers
..Unfortunately, even before an appearance in showrooms, the Mioveni specialists are still struggling to correct manufacturing problems.
...Solution with rear brake drums instead of discs, was preferred, obviously, for reasons of cost, just as Logan. Although small gauge machine with modest dynamic performance the solution is still widely used, in SUVs is no longer much encountered. Although the logic of cost reduction, including mechanical systems, managed to include Duster in Guinness Book as the cheapest SUV in the world product, the strategy is not always successful. And what is cheaper because it often is not very good, as were convinced and specialists in Mioveni recently.
...Thus, a still unknown number of cars were found with the braking problems of the rear wheel.
...In a test roadway in Mioveni recently rear-wheel braking suddenly yielded, making dust. There was little surprise to specialists in Dacia they found that this can happen in several machines, waiting to be delivered to showrooms and dealerships...
From reliable sources, I learned that the trouble happened because of damage during transport to the assembly of a band still unclear number of brake drums, which were then fitted negligently. After taken from the defect, scientists at Dacia is now trying any car that does not leave the factory gates with such brake drums. And that's because traffic in a test drive or even after purchase, rear brakes could yield unexpected, surprising the driver and can cause tragedy whose consequences can not be "covered" only guarantee ...

- Duster 71 metri
- QashQai 68 metri
- Media della categoria 65 metri
"However, it must deal with a direction without true feeling, and braking not enough bite in an emergency"

"The handling of the Duster is good. The road of Dacia Duster is no surprise. By cons braking distances Duster seem important. "

At different times, both on the road as unpaved roads, I got the feeling that the brakes of the Duster had a poor deceleration capacity. Check if this feeling persists when we test drive the car carefully. The brake pedal feel is better in Diesel version than in the gasoline.

mentre NiceMatin scrive:
