Subaru (Fuji Heavy Industries) have foreseen the drastic reduction of price on the FR sports car BRZ in the UK.
The company?s subsidiary in UK has announced the said price drop on April 29. "Starting May 1, the BRZ's UK price will be reduced by 2500 pounds (about 430,000 yen)," according to the company.
Once the new price is applied, the base price of UK's BRZ will become 23,995 pounds (around 4.15 million yen). In addition, Subaru UK has also announced that the new WRX STI that will be introduced on May will also have its price reduction by 4000 pounds (about 700,000 yen).
The Managing Director of Subaru UK Paul Tunnicliffe commented that "The large price cut is mainly due to the favorable exchange rates. The BRZ and the new model WRX STI are taking advantage of this blessing."
Looking at the previous year, Subaru UK has also lowered the price of the Impreza XV. As for the new Forester, its price will stay the same as its predecessor.
