Prosimo richiamo cavo batteria 1er 3er Z4?

Ciao banda,
come saprete tempo fa c'è stato il maxi richiamo sui cavi batteria (+) delle E60/61

Leggo ora questa notizia di febbraio dagli States che copio sotto.

Avete qualche info?

BMW is performing a recall on various 1, 3 and Z series models from model years 2007 through 2011. The connection from the positive battery cable to the fuse box may degrade and fail, resulting in loss of electrical power to the vehicle. The repair is to replace the positive battery cable connector and update the support mechanism.

Affected models:

• E82/E88 1-Series ? December 2007 through July 2011E90 3-series Sedan ? March 2007 through October 2011E91 3-series Wagon ? March 2007 through June 2011E92/E93 3-series Coupe & Convertible ? March 2007 through July 2011E89 Z4 ? March 2009 through June 2011

According to the recall:
?If there is a loss of electrical power to the vehicle, the vehicle may unexpectedly stall, increasing the risk of a crash.?

The recall is scheduled to begin during March 2013. Owners of affected vehicles are being notified by BMW. Further information can be obtained by contacting BMW customer relations at 1-800-525-7417.

a me in occasione del tagliando hanno visto che l'intervento sul cavo non era stato fatto e me l'hanno sostituito quindi non ti preoccupare, nel caso vieni avvisato oppure se propio vuoi esser sicuro, basta che passi in conce.
